Sauganash Ski Trip

Registration & Cost

Space is limited. Priority will be given to students who regularly attend activities at Sauganash. Cost is $350. The fee covers lift tickets, rentals (with helmets), transportation, and meals. If you have your own gear, the cost is $260.

Join us for two days of skiing at Chestnut Mountain in Galena, IL.

Registration Deadline: Saturday, February 4
Departure: Thursday, February 16 at 4:30 pm from Northridge
Pick up: Saturday, February 18 at 9:00 pm at Sauganash

What to Bring

  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Towel
  • Water bottle
  • Small backpack for the slopes
  • Toiletries
  • Clothes
    • Collared shirt and long pants for Mass
    • Clothes for wearing after skiing
    • Pajamas
  • Ski equipment (try to avoid cotton items, they get wet and cold)
    • Hat
    • Jacket
    • Ski pants
    • 2 pairs of warm socks
    • Thermal underwear
    • 1 or 2 sweaters
    • Gloves
    • Ski goggles
    • Facemask
    • Scarf or “neck sock”
    • Chapstick / lip balm
    • Sunscreen

Please do not bring a cell phone or laptop with you.

The daily schedule will include Holy Mass, times of prayer, and opportunities for confession.
